Most people asking about backup power are really asking one question, which is what it will run and for how long. The Livoltek all-in-one, in Oxbow’s configuration, supports lights, TV, WiFi, gaming console, fridge, electrical fence, freezer, alarm and an air fryer or microwave through a two-hour load-shedding period. Longer periods require an additional battery. The system activates automatically the moment the grid fails, and scales to 25kWh as demand grows.

Two MPP trackers with a 125V to 550V range give real flexibility in how the array is laid out, which is useful on a roof split across orientations or broken up by obstructions. Maximum efficiency of 97.8% keeps conversion losses low, and the wide 186V to 290Vac input window absorbs the voltage swings that come with a strained municipal supply instead of dropping out and forcing a restart. The battery input is galvanically isolated, with CAN communication to the BMS.

Runs Your Essential Load
The Oxbow system supports lights, TV, WiFi, gaming console, fridge, electrical fence, freezer, alarm and an air fryer or microwave across a two-hour load-shedding period. Longer periods require another battery module.
Automatic Activation
The system switches over the moment mains power fails, with no manual intervention and nothing to reset afterwards.
Scalable Battery Storage
Expandable up to 5 modules and 25kWh. Add capacity as consumption grows rather than specifying for a worst case that may never arrive.
5kVA Continuous Output
5,000W nominal AC at 21.7A on a pure sine wave, with total harmonic distortion below 3%. Clean enough for sensitive electronics and motor loads alike.
Handles Start-Up Surge
Peak power of 1.5 times nominal for 100ms and 1.1 times nominal for 60 seconds, covering both instantaneous inrush and sustained heavy load.
Solar Compatibility
Two MPP trackers with a 125V to 550V tracking range and a 600V maximum PV input, giving flexibility in string design across split roof orientations.
High Conversion Efficiency
97.8% maximum efficiency and 97.4% Euro efficiency.
More Usable Energy
LFP cells with a 90% maximum depth of discharge, 100Ah at 51.2V nominal. Almost the full nameplate capacity is available in practice.
Tolerates An Unstable Grid
AC input window of 186V to 290Vac at 50 or 60Hz, which absorbs the voltage swings common on a strained municipal supply rather than dropping out.
Protected Battery Interface
Galvanic isolation on the battery input, CAN BMS communication, and protection covering over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short circuit and over-temperature.
